Sagittarius
November 22 - December 21
The Sagittarius. Freedom-loving, extroverted, straightforward, benevolent, ardent, idealistic, sincere, intellectual, knowledgeable, creative, philosophical, broad-minded, sexual, funny and free-spirited. The Sagittarius person is always happy with a good sense of humor, honest, open-minded, truth-seeking, just, fun-loving, athletic, adventurous, expansive, and optimistic. The Sagittarian is known to be blunt and exaggerate, or talk too much, sometimes a know-it-all and over-indulgent, tactless, aggressive, scattered, impatient, pushy, annoying, loud, restless, careless, vain, and rebellious. As listed above, the Sagittarius has several good qualities, but with a few serious flaws. He/She is seen as having a duality similar to that of the Centaur or Satyr above. The Sagittarius's dual natures, that of the beast (aggressive, rebellious, sexual, free-roaming, etc.) and the higher nature (philosophical, open-minded, honest etc.) are said to be in constant conflict. The day to day struggle of the Sagittarius is represented in the astrological sign, which is interpreted by some to be an arrow lifting a heavy, cross-shaped burden.

Correspondences The Indian equivalent of Sagittarius is Dhanus.
The corresponding month in the Babylonian calendar is Arax Kislimu, dedicated to Nergal.
The Chinese equivalent is thought to be the tenacious, charismatic, and meticulous, Rat, whose lunar month is 7 December - 5 January. The "connection" or ("equivalency") between the Rat and Sagittarius is based solely on the fact that Rats rule the month of December, which is the month of the Sagittarian sign. The Rat personality traits, temperament, and character are, in fact, much more similar to the sign of the Scorpio.
Sagittarius with Gemini
There is a naturally high-strung 180 degree angle between these signs.
Unlike Gemini, Sagittarius is more focussed and enterprising. Sagittarius can have a hard time with the cool, more calculated demeanor of Gemini. There can be clashes on the basis of faith, of which Gemini usually would have none of, especially if it is to curb their (sometimes mischievous) style.
Sagittarius with Aries
These signs share the fire element, and so are able to relate.
These signs often attract on the basis of strong passion between them. These are pretty strong signs and so are able to weather each other. Although there are often many disagreements between them, as both are quite opinionated, there are nevertheless some similarities in their value systems. They also able to get over arguments without bad blood. They tend to share a similar energy level and pace, and their association tends to be rather exciting. There's usually much humor in this association.
Aries tends to be more dominant in the decisionmaking process, as it is more assertive and stubborn. Aries is usually able to keep Sagittarius interested, and so less inclined to drift away.
Sagittarius with Aquarius
Although these signs may have many similarities on its surface, Aquarius is much less conventional than Sagittarius, and tends to have a controversial twist to it, which can be a bit uneasy for Sagittarius. Aquarius has more of an edge, but is usually less focussed and ambitious.
